Joseph H. Chang, MD

Oculoplastic Surgeon; Eyelid and Facial Aesthetic Specialist

Joseph H. Chang MD board certified ophthalmologist, has been practicing the most advanced techniques for plastic surgery of the eyelids and aesthetic facial rejuvenation for over twenty years.

Dr. Chang has a keen aesthetic sense and masterfully blends the technical and artistic sides of his work.   Known as The Eyelid Doc, Dr. Chang has performed several thousand eyelid surgeries and tens of thousands of injections in his career to-date.

Nobody else in SB comes remotely close to the level of expertise, and only a handful of physicians in the Western US. Joseph Chang has strong relationships with aesthetic companies such as Galderma, Merz, Allergan and Evolus and buys in large quantities so his pricing remains competitive in the injectable marketplace. He offers only the highest quality of care at a price our patients love.

What to Expect at a Consultation

Dr. Chang takes each patient through a mini tutorial about their different options and what each one means for them.  This helps jump-start the communication process, opening the door for them to ask questions and feel better informed to make a decision.  Dr. Chang believes that great communication is the key to creating a good long-term treatment program.

After graduating valedictorian from high school in Knoxville, TN, he obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.  Dr. Chang then completed his residency in Ophthalmology at UCLA’s esteemed Jules Stein Eye Institute.
