AVIVA Non-Surgical Labiaplasty

AVIVA Non-Surgical Labiaplasty

Having an enlarged labia minora is not a cause for concern, medically speaking. This issue is referred to as hypertrophy and is often present at birth. However, while it may not pose a health risk, having an elongated labia can cause vaginal irritation and discomfort. If you struggle with this issue but are concerned about surgery, there are alternatives available. Here at Turner Medical Arts, we offer AVIVA non-surgical labiaplasty treatments. This treatment can give you the relief you deserve without the long recovery time of surgery.

What Is AVIVA Non-Surgical Labiaplasty?

The AVIVA is a handpiece that uses radiofrequency energy to reduce the size of the labia minora. Treatments take little time and are minimally invasive, involving only the insertion of a thin probe. Unlike surgery, an AVIVA non-surgical labiaplasty doesn’t involve extensive prep or recovery time. While some downtime is recommended, it is minimal, and the results are worth it.

How Do Treatments Work?

AVIVA works by shrinking and tightening the skin by increasing collagen production. This is done through focused radiofrequency (RF) energy. During the procedure, the handpiece emits RF energy between the ends of an emitter on the surface of the skin. Along with this, a thin probe is inserted underneath the skin. The treatment takes little time and results in long-lasting improvement. We can also combine the FormaV applicator wand with AVIVA to rejuvenate the vaginal canal (vagina), vaginal opening, and inner/outer labia.

What Results Can I Expect From AVIVA?

After the procedure, you can experience some mild swelling, redness, and discomfort for a few days. In most cases, you should be able to return to non-strenuous jobs and activities after just 1-3 days. It is important to avoid tampon use, sexual intercourse, and vigorous activity for approximately two weeks after the procedure. In most cases, patients usually require only a single treatment per area to see improvements. A maintenance treatment every 1.5-2 years is recommended to maintain results.
